Antispasmodic Herbs
Spasm refers to a sudden involuntary muscular contraction or convulsive movement.
Antispasmodic herbs are used to suppress smooth muscle contraction, especially in tubular organ. The effect is to prevent spasms and cramps of the stomach, intestine, and bladder. These herbs are also known as spasmolytic.
Excessiveness of Antispasmodic Herbs may cause:
- Drowsiness
- Skin rashes
- Swelling on face
- Breathing difficulties
