Hypertension
Research has shown tea to be beneficial for overall health. This includes substantial decreased risks of hypertension with daily tea consumption. A Taiwanese study in 2004 found that people who drank tea regularly had lower blood pressure than those who did not. The research concluded that the odds of developing hypertension were cut almost in half among those who drank one cup a day, and by about 2/3 among those who drank 3 or more cups daily.
